Nike KD 8 “Suit” Release Date, Detailed Look

We’ve only seen a handful of KD 8 colorways to date, but the Nike KD 8 Suit is definitely in the running for best of the bunch.

Inspired by the suit Kevin Durant wore while accepting his 2013-14 NBA MVP award, the shoe is striking in a red-tinged purple Flyweave upper; colorful enough to catch the eye, dark enough not to overwhelm it. Neon green then enters the picture on the branding and full-length Zoom Air unit, a striking bit of contrast that perfect caps off the colorway. Truly, this is a flawless aesthetic, evenly mixing bright and dark, wildly colorful and . . . slightly less colorful.

And the wait isn’t long! The Nike KD 8 Suit release date is officially set for Friday, August 14.
