Nike “What the” Air Max 95 | In Detail

As the Air Max 95 OG Neon prepares for its long awaited return this weekend, we start looking ahead to another absolute beast of OG styling — the What the Air Max 95, aka Nike Air Max 95Greedy.

Created for the people who can’t decide which original AM95 colorway to purchase — both theNeon and Grape editions hit stores imminently — the Greedy 95 combines elements of four original looks into one single pair of shoes. Each shoe is split in half, sharing the colors and features of two colorways, meaning not only is the pair asymmetrical, even the individual shoes are.

And yet it’s a remarkably unified, cohesive look, owing to all four OG colorways having utilized similar color-blocking and materials, I suppose. Whatever the reason, it works.

Rumors have indicated that the US What the Air Max 95 release would come on July 25, although that seems less likely by the day. Stay tuned for firm launch information, and check out plenty of shots below courtesy of the UK’s Footpatrol. (The European release date is indeed July 25.)
